What is DarLink AI?
I built a companion on DarLink on a Tuesday night, gave her a voice, and asked for a five-second clip. The still came back in under a minute. The clip took longer, and the last second went soft. That mix — cheap, fast images and video that almost works — is the whole product.
DarLink is a Swiss browser companion from FAMELINK. You design the face and temperament, then you chat, send voice notes, and spend coins on photos and short video. There is no native phone app I could confirm. English only. The bet is simple: video of a character you built, at a price that undercuts the catalog apps.

Can you create your own companion?
Yes. That is the point. DarLink is a workshop, not a shelf. You set look and personality before you ever pick from a feed. I spent more time in the creator than in chat on day one, which is the opposite of GoLove, where you browse a grid and start talking.

How does DarLink memory work?
I fed the same five facts to each plan — a nickname, a job, a city, a food I do not eat, a standing Tuesday plan — and came back three days later.
Basic Memory, on Essential
It kept the nickname and dropped the food. Fine for a weekend. Not a diary.
Enhanced Memory, on Advanced
All five facts came back, a little paraphrased. Faster replies, which is the other thing Advanced is selling.
Living Memory, on Ultimate
This is the headline. The companion brought the Tuesday plan up without being asked. I would not translate that into “it remembers everything for a month.” It is the strongest tier DarLink ships, and it is the reason Ultimate exists.
How good is the chat?
Good enough that I stopped testing prompts and just talked. It is not the deepest emotional model in this category. It is consistent, and it does not reset the scene every reply. Scenario chat gets better on Advanced and Ultimate. Essential is a clean 1:1 thread with a message cap you will hit if you live in the app.
Does DarLink generate images and video?
Images are the reliable half. Coins go further here than on Candy token packs in my log. Video is the bet: short clips of the character you built, not a stock loop. The working takes startled me. The smear at the end is why I will not call it a film studio.
Coins sit on every paid plan — 100 / 300 / 500 a month. Stills are cheap. Clips are not. Ultimate is not unlimited media.
Does DarLink have voice?
Six standard voices on Essential, ten premium voices on Advanced and Ultimate. I used one premium voice for a week. It is a voice note product, not a live call. For a camera that stays on, that is FLIRTcam.

Who is DarLink best for?
People who want to design a companion and keep a thread going, without paying Candy-class token shock for stills. Also people who want a Discord next to the app.
It is the wrong tab if you want hangouts with ten characters (GoLove) or a cam window as the homepage (FLIRTcam).
Is DarLink worth it?
Yes, on Essential, if the builder is why you showed up. Upgrade to Ultimate only if Living Memory is the feature you keep thinking about after a week. I would tell a friend: start cheap, spend coins on stills, treat video as a bonus that sometimes lands, and do not buy Ultimate on day one.
